Susan Bulanda knows animals! As a certified animal behaviorist she works with pets and their owners, who often ask her, “Will my pet be in heaven?”
As a Christian, she believes in the Bible as the inspired Word of God. So she turned to the Bible for answers. Finding few published theological works or biblical studies that dealt directly with the topic of animals, she researched and found fascinating answers to share with us.
Susan’s many years as a lay student of the Bible, as well as her academic studies that have resulted in numerous degrees, brought rigor to her approach. Her vast experience with animals ~ as a “Canine Search and Rescue” trainer and handler in both the U.S. and Europe, as a senior conformation judge for the United Kennel Club, as a lecturer at Kutztown University in dog training and behavior consulting, and as a private animal behavior consultant ~ has given Susan an appreciation for the importance of animals in our lives, and in all of creation.
Susan has written numerous published books, well known in “the dog world,” including: Boston Terriers (Barron’s), Ready: The Training of the Search and Rescue Dog, Scenting on the Wind: Scent Work for Hunting Dogs, Ready to Serve, Ready to Save (Doral).
Susan is the award-winning author of two popular Cladach titles:

FAITHFUL FRIENDS : Holocaust Survivors’ Stories of the Pets Who Gave Them Comfort, Suffered Alongside Them, and Waited for Their Return
